Metamorphosis of the Woman and her love and of her immense power

Metamorphosis of the Woman and her love is my first poetry book. As a pediatrician, my muse or inspiration led me to explore the transformation of a girl (her metamorphosis) from being a baby to the adulthood in verses and narrative. I discuss the developmental stages of the woman through ages, including all physical, mental, emotional, social and motor areas, all in narrative and poetry. i envisioned myself as one of the characters of the book, so I included poetry to everything that was significant in my life such as: my mother, my father, my siblings, my kids, Cayey my hometown, my beautiful island of Puerto Rico with his beaches, mountains, traditions, Christmas, coqui , Chichorreos and even the Hurricanes.

In the second half of the book the poems are dedicated to the metamorphosis or transformation of love in the way I experienced it. I classified these poems into 4 different groups: disillusionment, decision, illusion and faith and hope.
